the other day i met a woman at my bus stop and we ended up talking about books the whole bus ride home (she lives in my neighborhood.) i looked the book up and it is right up my alley. i cannot wait to go buy it or get it from the library. it just seems fantastic.
Exactly. The Kindle is a great idea, and a lot of people are reading again. There is just nothing better than sitting down with an actual book and being able to highlight in it and underline things. I'm in the wrong decade!
seriously! i guess that on kindles you can highlight or underline things, but then no one else sees it! honestly, one of my favorite little surprises is getting a book from the library, and seeing underlined quotes and writing in the margins.
Just read your blog post about books. I love everything you said about books vs kindle! I'm the same way as a fiction writer!
thank you for reading! i have to admit that i’m still tempted by the kindle (especially since they have lowered the price to $79…). but at the end of the day: books still reign supreme :)
i just feel like so much work goes into a book, it should be displayed in a more prominent way that as a little file on a screen.

we never have days off together.
we are not setting an alarm. we’re going to start our day off the best way. i think we’re going to Olive Garden if the weather cooperates. even if it storms all day, i am 110% alright with just ordering pizza and watching movies and cuddling and just spending all day together.
i think this is how i have learned that we are in love with each other (or just crazy). we can spend hours and hours and hours together and not be sick of each other, and still find things to talk about and do together.
ahhh i am just so excited.
